7 Ridiculously Exciting Things To Do In Paris

I get it. Covid-19 is messing with travel right now, but it’s going to get better, right?
If you decide to take a romantic trip now the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 pandemic are relaxed somewhat, why not a trip to Paris.

They say Paris is one of the most romantic cities in the world. I agree. I have visited Paris many times with my husband. There is a certain allure and attraction to Paris that makes me go back again and again. I call Paris my home city from home.

If you ever take a romantic break to Paris, I highly recommend you visit these places:

1. Eifel Tower
This is a very popular sight, known around the world by millions of people. If you can endure it, Climb 704 steps to the 2nd foor and be greeted by the most spectacular view of Paris. It is an experience you will not want to miss. Dont be discouraged by the steps though, because you can also take the lift up. Don’t miss the spectacular show of lights in the night. It is a sight you simply must see.

2. Louvre Museum

If you are a lover of art you must see the picture of Monalisa. The queue is long. The best way to get the benefit is to join a guided tour. Which will show you the important piece of art in the museum to eliminate the stress, leaving you enough time to enjoy some presious time with your partner.

3. Seine River
You have not been to Paris until you have taken a boat cruise down the Seine. Take in the sights and seep champagne while holding hands and whispering in each other’s ears. You will see Eiffel tower in all its glory and magnificence from the boat, especially in the evenings when the lights are flashing.

 4. Palace of Versailles
This is luxury like you have never seen. Walk through the gardens and tour the apartments of the kings. It is a lovely place to take lots of beautiful pictures.

5. Arc de Triomphe
The top of Arc de Triomphe will present you with unbelievable views of Paris. It is a monument erected to honour the people who fought in the Napoleonic War and the French Revolution.

6. Moulin Rouge

If you enjoy the night scene., then dress up and head out. You will love the Moulin Rouge for its splendour and world class cabaret. It is a good time to wind up your romantic break. It is spectacular!

7. Champs Elysees

What’s more romantic than walking hand in hand in one the most beautiful avenues in the world? This beautiful avenue stretches from the Arc de Triomphe all the way to Place de la Concorde, and into Tuileries Gardens, another spectacular place to see in Paris, especially at night.


If you want to see all the top attractions in a short time, take a guided tour aboard a double decker bus. You may not be able to visit the inside of these places, but you will get to see as many of them as possible and learn their histories from the expert tour guides.

Do your research and plan your trip properly before visiting Paris. Don’t forget to make time to take quiet strolls and have romantic dinners. After all spending quality time with less distractions is why you’re on a romantic break.
