In Defense of Thoughtful And Meaningful Gifts

Did you receive any extravagant gifts this Christmas?

A study in the US, has  found that buying expensive gifts shows genuine love for the receiver. Do you agree?

I don’t.

My daughter gave me these gifts for Christmas. They are thoughtful and appropriate gifts to help me with my writing and blogging. They are the kind of gifts that say, mum, I get what you are doing and I support you. To me that is extravagant and lavish love. It made me cry.

Know this, extravagant and not so extravagant gifts can convey the same message, love.
